Birthday celebration all through June

Recently I observed I have so much friends that are born in the month of June. I mean I have loads of friends. Peradventure you do not know what that means, it simply means I have attended different buffets for different celebrants.
There's a Restaurant called Jimmy Spices which I heard about when I newly came into Birmingham but never had the opportunity to go there. Fortunately for me, one of my friends, a close one this time had his birthday get-together at Jimmy Spices. It was really a nice time. It's being fun for me in the month of June and I intend to maximize this period to the fullest. Aston University is really a place to be, it gives you an opportunity to live a balanced lifestyle without stress. I was at Wolverhampton recently also to say hi to a friend who God recently added a baby boy to his family. I caught my fun there also. Birmingham can't wait to receive you guys. It's not all about the academic, it's a balanced life style. To everything, there's a season. Make use of each that comes your way.

Summer time....

Believe me the summer weather has being brilliant so far in Birmingham, you can't get anything better than this. The weather became so mild that I had to always go out with my sunglasses each day. Although, quite funny that rain still shower during this season nevertheless the weather has being very friendly. Now I can wear my shorts, go out without a jacket and even return home late because the day gets brighter as the night draws near (Longer day, shorter night) 
Planning to take a trip to either Romania or Amsterdam, still trying to decide as part of my summer vacation. I get various offers from Studentbeans to get a trip for a good deal. Mind you, there had being many offers in the stores now to equip yourself for the summer, this off-course occurs every year so you can't miss it when you come around, coupled with your student discount, it's really a time to gather  quite much and upgrade your wardrobe. I wish I could catch the whole fun but I am still working on my project. Catch ya later folks.

Easter Break

The Easter break was something I was really anticipating before it came as a relief for me because my final exams preceded it. However it went so fast  after it came, I wish it was longer than that. It was really a nice break for me, I visited the cinema to watch a movie and had nice time with my church folks. Myself and my colleagues all attended a buffet specially for us alone, it was really a nice time, we had so much fun and got to know each other better. We shared things that we would never had known about each other, it was really fun. We were all introduced to Chinese meal and it was indeed delicious.

My plans for Easter Break

Hmnnnn, believe I will say I don't have a plan yet because I have so many plans and I haven't decided which of the trips I will like to take. Since my resumption, I have hardly had time to go different trips aside the Alton Towers I visited. However I have plans to travel to London (Imagine I haven't being to London and I'm in UK) and visit Bath also. However I also have a pending visit to pay to cousin in Cardiff city, all these in plan but haven't executed any yet. Atleast one of them will be executed in this Easter break. I will keep you posted and I promise to return with pictures. Many students has travelled back home for the break but I'm here in Birmingham relaxing and catching my fun anyway coupled with the beautiful weather we have now.

What a blessing

You know recently I nursed a thought of how perfect and suitably Aston University is situated very close to the City Center where all you can ever think of getting or having is a stone throw to you. Just a 5 minutes walk from the school gives you an access to the best grocery stores, bars, restaurants, designer stores, post office, dame centers, banks and all you could ever imagine that bring comfort to humanity. Above all, the mighty BULL RING is just too close to you, you don't need a drive to get there.  However, this dense area area of commerce keeps calling you to spend whenever you pass through it, you need some discipline to traverse this area else you'll tend to spend every time you pass through it. There's a unique icon called the Bull, I have picture of it here. This is the Bull well brocaded during last year Christmas period. Less I get carried away, the fact still remains that Aston University provides an absolute balanced lifestyle of academics and social life. I bet you that such opportunity can't be found else where.

International office Scholarship Reception

I couldn't believe it when I realised I didn't update my blog with the international office scholarship reception that took place in February. It was really an outstanding event. Many students appeared in their native apparels although I intend to do the same but eventually went corporately dressed. I met so many folks from other countries, its really a program all students will like to attend but it's a pity that only students offered scholarship were invited. I hope you will get scholarship and be part of the program come next year. I have some pictures for you to see to have a feeling of how the program went. Guess what? Rotaract Club

Hi guys........I am so glad  to let you know Rotaract Club is now in Aston University. After the last Rotaract dinner I told you about that I attended last year December, we made every move possible to get Aston Rotaract club registered by the student guild and it was a success. We have a lot of plans to influence our nearest neighbourhood and community. Rotaract Club specializes in giving service to humanity and going extra miles in charity. I have being an active member and we shall have our awareness campaign very soon.

I'm sure many of you have heard about Rotaract Club, it will be nice to see new faces join us and do some new things. its fun and a great network with people from different countries. I can bet you its something that will interest you and will have a life impact in you. I will keep you updated on coming developments. Aston University is a place to be, you can bank on it.

A new term

The term has being so challenging me for me academically. I have more courses to take this term and long hours labs. But that pretty good. The curriculum of my program is so rich and we are being taught what is needed academically and industrially.
I haven't really had time in participating in different fun that much except for football once in a long while. I'm a member of the newly approved Rotaract Club by the University and we have so much plans for the term to impact our neighbouring community. I guess I will definitely catch some fun in the coming events.

Happy New Year folks

It's being an amazing year for 2011. Here comes 2012 with his challenges and fortunes. I had a lovely and wonderful Christmas break. There was a massive clearance and sale during the Christmas period, good things became affordable and I made good use of the opportunity. Life in Birmingham has being so far interesting and welcoming. So many course works awaits me in the Uni and another academic term is about to be fired, All is well. The 3 weeks break was necessary to make us relax and rejuvenate for the coming term. Happy new year to you folks, I have missed so many friends and can't wait to see them again. However, I can't also wait to see the term 1 examination result.
